A fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00) shall be collected by the city from each applicant other than quasi-public utilities for each permit issued. No permit shall be issued by the building official to any person for any excavation for any purposes whatsoever unless and until such person has completed an application for a permit on blanks to be furnished by the building official; application forms when signed as approved by the building official shall become and shall be construed as excavation permits. Permits shall be made out in triplicate, the original and copy marked "For Deposit Return" shall be given the applicant. Copy marked "File" shall be retained in the building official's office. Permits issued for sanitary sewer or water connection shall show diagram of connection on reverse side for permanent record.
Each application for an excavation permit shall be subject to such conditions and requirements as are herein and hereinafter set forth. (Ord. 2781, 5-3-2010)
