The mayor, with the advice and consent of the city council, shall appoint the members of the commission. The commission shall consist of five (5) members. At least three (3) members shall be senior members of local law enforcement agencies in Lee County, including the city of Dixon chief of police, the Lee County sheriff and the Lee County state's attorney or their respective designees.
