A. Appointment And Term: The coordinator of the village ESDA shall be appointed by the president of the village with the concurrence of the board of trustees and shall serve until removed by same.
B. Responsibilities: The coordinator shall have direct responsibility for the organization, administration, training and operation of the village ESDA as prescribed in the village emergency preparedness plan subject to the direction and control of the village president. He shall coordinate the activities of all operations within the area served by the village ESDA and shall maintain liaison and cooperate with the county and state officials.
C. Acting Coordinator: In the event of the absence, resignation, death, or inability of the coordinator to serve, the president of the village, or any person designated by him, shall act as coordinator until a new appointment is made as provided by the village ordinances. (Ord. ESDA-0401, 4-27-2004)
