A. Misconduct: Every village officer who is guilty of a palpable omission of duty, or who is guilty of wilful and corrupt oppression, malconduct or misfeasance in the discharge of the duties of his office shall be guilty of a business offense and, on conviction, shall be fined not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). The court in which such conviction is had shall enter an order removing the convicted officer from office.
B. Impersonation: It shall be unlawful for any person to impersonate, without lawful authority, any village officer or employee.
C. Interference With Officers: It shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with or hinder any officer or employee of the village, in any manner, while engaged in the duties of his office or employment. (1997 Code)
