The president and three (3) members of the board of trustees shall be elected at the consolidated election in accordance with the statutes of the state of Illinois made and provided 1 , said election to be held in April of 1989 and every four (4) years thereafter. The remaining three (3) members of the village board of trustees shall be elected at the consolidated election in April of 1991 and every four (4) years thereafter. In all cases, the office of the president and the board of trustees, as aforesaid, shall be for a period of four (4) years. (1997 Code)
