The owner of any guard dog which protects property in the city shall maintain a general liability insurance policy insuring against liability resulting from acts of the dog while performing as guardian of the property upon which the dog is located in an amount not less than three hundred thousand ($300,000) aggregate combined single limit for bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
