In the installation of a service line, the customer shall leave the trench open and pipe uncovered until it is inspected by the Utilities Director or his representative and shown to be free from any "T" branch connection, irregularity, or defect. A twenty-four (24) hour notice should be given for inspection. The connection thereof shall be made to the water system by the city and only after inspection.
