§ 4-3-7 SERVICE LINE.
   (A)   The line through which a customer receives water from a distribution main shall be known as a service line.
   (B)   A service line shall serve only the premises described on the application and each branch shall be metered. Each house or building shall have a separate and distinct curb stop located outside the premises opposite such premises and on public right-of-way. The city engineer may require properties or premises not so equipped to install additional services and/or curb stops at the expense of the property owner.
   (C)   In cases of service to complexes such as manufacturing, churches, schools, apartment buildings, etc., a master meter may be installed to serve such complexes.
