4-2-2: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following definitions:
   BURN OFF: The ignition and burning of landscape waste or vegetation without collecting, piling and attending such conflagration as stated in section 4-2-4 of this chapter.
   GARBAGE: That material(s) resulting from the handling, processing, preparation, cooking and/or consumption of food or food products.
   LANDSCAPE WASTE: Any vegetable, vegetative, or plant refuse, except garbage. The term includes, but is not limited to, trees, tree trimmings, branches, stumps, brush, weeds, leaves, grass, shrubbery and yard trimmings that have been cut or otherwise severed.
   REFUSE: Any discarded matter and/or combustible and non- combustible trash including, but not limited to, barrels, excelsior, furniture, junk, bedding, plastics, metals, scraps, shavings, tires, petroleum-based products or other similar items. (Ord. 513-04, 1-5-2004)
