4-2-4: BURNING LANDSCAPE WASTE:
Landscape waste which is generated on-site (that being that landscape waste not generated from 1 site and transported to another site for burning) may be burned in the open between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and eight o'clock (8:00) P.M.; provided, that: (Ord. 513-04, 1-5-2004; amd. 2017 Code)
A.   The landscape waste is piled not less than fifty feet (50') away from any structure.
B.   The burning of the landscape waste is supervised by at least one (1) person over the age of eighteen (18).
C.   The burning of the landscape waste shall not occur on a day when the wind is blowing in excess of ten (10) miles per hour as determined in the Village by the National Weather Service.
D.   The burning of the landscape waste shall not create a visibility hazard on roadways or railroad tracks.
E.   The burning of the landscape waste shall not be done on a street, sidewalk or public way.
F.   The burning of the landscape waste shall not be done on those days on which the Village President has determined that such burning will be hazardous due to local conditions.
G.   The landscape waste shall not be allowed to smolder, but shall be burned or cause to be burned in a rapid manner. (Ord. 513-04, 1-5-2004)
