(A) Administrative fee for building permits. In addition to any other fees imposed by this section or any other ordinance of the Village of Diamond, there is hereby imposed an administrative fee for issuance of building permits in the amount as set forth in the fee schedules in § 150.21. The administrative fee shall be paid in full along with all other fees imposed by the Village of Diamond prior to issuance of any building permit.
(B) Fees for residential, commercial and industrial building permits and inspections. The permit and inspection fees for residential, commercial and industrial buildings are set forth in the schedule in § 150.21(A). The fees set forth therein shall be paid in full to the village prior to the issuance of a building permit or prior to reinspection, as the case may be.
(C) Fees for miscellaneous building permits and inspections. The permit and inspection fees for miscellaneous building items are set forth on the schedule in § 150.21(B). The fees set forth therein shall be paid in full to the village prior to the issuance of a building permit or prior to reinspection, as the case may be.
(D) Inspections for new residential construction. The required inspections for new residential construction are set forth on the schedule in § 150.21(C). The inspections set forth therein shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Village Building Inspector prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
(E) Re-inspection fee for building inspection. In addition to any other fees imposed by this section or any other ordinance of the Village of Diamond, there is hereby imposed a re-inspection fee in the amount of $25 for the first re-inspection and $50 for any additional re-inspections if corrections were not made properly at the time of the first reinspection. The re-inspection fees shall be imposed upon the general contractor or owner when during the course of work an additional inspection is required due to failure of the work to meet the applicable building code at the time of the inspection. No occupancy permit shall be issued for any structure unless all applicable re-inspection fees have been paid in full.
(F) Replacement certificate of occupancy/completion. In addition to any other fees imposed by this section or any other ordinance of the Village of Diamond, there is hereby imposed a replacement certificate fee of $25. When any person entitled to receive a certificate of occupancy or certificate of completion for any structure or work completed with the village shall request any additional certificate, the charge shall be imposed prior to issuance by the village.
(G) Enforcement. No certificate of occupancy or certificate of completion shall be issued by the Village of Diamond until all fees imposed by this section are paid in full and all required inspections have been completed to the satisfaction of the Village Building Inspector.
(H) Effective date. This section shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
