§ 153.111 PUBLIC UTILITIES.
   (A)   Location. All public utility lines for telephone, electric service, cable TV or fiber and broadband shall be placed in easements or along dedicated street right-of-ways and entirely underground in residential subdivisions.
      (1)   When telephone, electric service and cable or fiber TV and broadband lines are placed underground entirely throughout a subdivided area, the conduits or cable shall be placed within easements or dedicated public ways in a manner which will not conflict with other underground services.
      (2)   Any electrical service in a street right-of-way or within a rear yard easement shall be within conduit meeting village specifications and installed by the developer.
      (3)   All above ground appurtenances shall be located to not be unsightly or hazardous to the public.
   (B)   All gas mains shall be placed within street right-of-ways or within easements.
   (C)   Notification. Underground work, either the installation of or the repair of existing sewer and water systems, shall not commence until the appropriate public utilities are staked by their owners.
   (D)   Conveyance of improvements. Title to all public improvements required in this chapter shall, at the time the same are accepted by the Village Board, be conveyed and transferred to the village by sufficient documents of transfer, provided further however, that the acceptance of all such conveyances of public improvements shall require the action of the Village Board.
