§ 90.017 CONTRACTS WITH VETERINARIANS; ISSUANCE OF TAGS; FAILURE TO PERFORM DUTIES.
   (A)   The Animal Control Administrator may enter into contracts with veterinarians for the collection of fees, issuance of rabies inoculation registration certificates and transmittal of fee to the County Treasurer, as provided in § 90.019.
   (B)   (1)   The Administrator shall issue tags to each veterinarian who has contracted with the county.
      (2)   If a veterinarian fails to register an inoculated animal, collect the fees or transmit the fees or duplicates of the certificates to the Administrator, the Administrator may refuse to issue tags to the veterinarian, and the veterinarian shall be liable to the county for sums he or she fails to collect and transmit.
