Pursuant to O.R.S. 656.031, workers’ compensation coverage will be provided to the classes of volunteer workers listed in the volunteer election form.
   (A)   For all sanctioned city projects an assumed monthly wage of $800 will be used for public safety volunteers.
   (B)   For all sanctioned city projects, the state minimum wage will be used for non-public safety volunteers.
   (C)   Non-public safety volunteers will keep track of their hours and have their payroll reported in the correct class code for the type of work being performed. A roster of all active volunteers will be kept monthly for reporting purposes. It is acknowledged that City Insurance Services (CIS) may request copies of these rosters during year-end audit.
   (D)   An aggregate assumed annual wage of $2,500 will be used per volunteer board, commission, and Council for the performance of administrative duties.
   (E)   Court-mandated community service workers/inmates on work release will be covered for workers’ compensation benefits by the sentencing court. A certificate of coverage for workers’ compensation will be obtained from the sentencing court prior to work inception.
   (F)   Unanticipated volunteer projects or exposure not addressed in herein will be added onto the city’s coverage agreement by endorsement, with advance notice to CIS, and allowing two weeks for processing. It is hereby acknowledged that coverage of this type cannot be backdated.
