The State of Oregon Building Code, hereafter “Building Code,” being O.R.S. 455.040, latest edition, as revised every three years, which includes electrical, mechanical, structural building codes, and any and all amendments, is hereby adopted by reference and incorporated herein as if set out in full. Nothing in this chapter is not intended to repeal, abrogate, or impair any of the provisions of the State of Oregon Building Code; where this chapter (containing the Structural Specialty Code, adopted as the Uniform Building Code, Volume 1, and Standards thereto, 1973 Edition, and the Mechanical Specialty Code of the city, adopted as the Uniform Mechanical Code, including Appendices A, B, and C, of the 1973 Edition) and the State of Oregon Building Code may conflict or overlap, the State of Oregon Building Code shall prevail.
