(A) City streets and sidewalks shall be left broom clean when excavating or clearing lots at the end of each working day. Persons who fail to comply with this provision shall pay the city the sum as set by resolution liquidated damages for each day that person is in violation.
(B) If it is necessary for a person to cross over existing sidewalks and curbs with trucks or other heavy equipment, protective planks of at least two inches in thickness shall be laid down to cover the area where the trucks will be crossing the sidewalks and/or curbs during each working day and protective planks shall be removed at the end of every working day.
(C) If it is necessary to store equipment or supplies on sidewalks or city streets, the contractor or owner shall first obtain a permit from the city for that purpose. A fee, as set by resolution, shall be charged per week in sections of eight feet by ten feet or 80 square feet.
(D) A street use permit shall be posted on the construction site next to the building permit and shall be left plainly visible.
