§ 151.03 PROHIBITING DUPLEXING AND TRIPLEXING OF SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES.
   (A)   All homes or residences constructed originally as single-family homes prior to the enactment of this section shall not be permitted to be converted into duplex or multiple-family dwellings in the village.
   (B)   All homes or residences constructed originally as double or duplex family homes prior to the enactment of this section shall not be permitted to be converted into units of more than two-family dwellings in the village. Permit and inspection is required under current rental housing legislation.   
   (C)   All homes or residences constructed originally as single-family homes prior to the enactment of this section shall not under any circumstances be converted into apartment buildings in the village.    
   (D)   New construction of duplex or triplex units or multiple-family apartment buildings shall be permitted to be constructed in the village provided they otherwise meet all federal, state and local Housing Code and all health and safety regulations. Permit and approval required.
