The Board may enter into contracts in the performance of its duties, and such contracts shall not be subject to approval by the Council if all amounts required to be paid by the City under such contracts are payable from funds provided for tourism purposes under the current annual budget, and provided that funds for such contracts are currently available for expenditure from the Tourism Board account.
