The City Attorney shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as may be provided by the City Council, the ordinances of the City, or the laws of the State and shall transmit to his or her successor in office all books, papers, records, documents, or other property belonging to the City, together with an inventory of the same, in the City Attorney’s custody or control pertaining to such office.
