Except as provided by Section 160.13 of this chapter, any person desiring to make any electrical installation or alteration shall file an application for an electrical permit with the Building Inspector on a form provided by the City. The application shall state the location of the premises where the proposed work is to be done, the name of the owner of said premises, the name of the person to do the work and the amount and nature of the work. The application shall also state the proposed work will be done in compliance with this chapter and all other applicable statutes and regulations. The application shall be accompanied by the fee provided by this chapter. If requested by the Building Inspector, the applicant shall also submit plans and specifications showing the proposed work in such detail as necessary to determine whether the proposed work complies with this chapter and all other applicable statutes and regulations.
