Except as provided by Section 158.08 of this chapter and the Uniform Plumbing Code, 2021 Edition, any person desiring to make any plumbing installation, repair or alteration shall file an application for a plumbing permit with the Building Inspector on a form provided by the City. The application shall be accompanied by the fee provided by this chapter. If requested by the Building Inspector, the applicant shall also submit plans and specifications showing the proposed work in such detail as is necessary to determine whether the proposed work complies with the Uniform Plumbing Code.
