Any person desiring to make any mechanical installation, repair, or alteration shall file an application for a mechanical permit with the Building Inspector on a form provided by the City. The application shall be accompanied by the fee as provided in this chapter. If requested by the Building Inspector, the applicant shall also submit plans and specifications showing the proposed work in such detail as is necessary to determine whether the proposed work complies with the International Mechanical Code.
