The Chief of Police may, for good cause shown, grant permission to exceed the noise and/or time limits outlined in this chapter, for specific activities, events, celebrations, and public gatherings. In deciding whether to extend the noise or time limits, the Chief of Police shall take into consideration the date, location, and type of special event being proposed.
