(A) Definitions. A PRINCIPAL USE is the specific primary use of land or buildings, as opposed to ACCESSORY USE, a subordinate use which is incidental to and customary in connection with the principal building or principal use and which is located on the same lot with such principal building or principal use.
(B) General application. The table in division (D) of this section lists principal uses which may be permitted in the districts by right (designated by X) and conditional uses (designated by C) which may be permitted only after a hearing by the Planning Commission and a favorable vote by the Village Board. The table does not apply to home occupations (see § 157.36 of this chapter).
(C) Conditional uses. A conditional use permit is hereby required for any and all changes or alterations to the structure, visual appearance, or use of any building, structure, lot, monument, or thing that has been declared an historic preservation site by the Village Board.
