§ 132.44  OPEN VAULTS.
   Whoever shall leave open any cellar door, vault, well, cistern, excavation, ditch, or other hole upon or adjoining any street, alley, or sidewalk without securing and protecting the same so as to prevent the danger of persons or animals from falling therein, shall be guilty of a petty offense.
