Whoever shall, within said village, or within three miles of the outer boundaries thereof, keep or maintain, directly or indirectly, any bawdy or disorderly house, house of ill fame or of assignation, or place used for the practice of fornication or adultery, shall be guilty of a petty offense for which the fine shall be $50 for each offense, and be subject to a further fine in like sum for every 24 hours after the first conviction that such house shall be continued or maintained.
