No person, firm, or corporation shall operate, maintain, or conduct a billiard or pool table opened to the public without having first obtained a license therefor. No person, firm, or corporation shall operate any mechanically coin-operated music device, or a coin-operated pinball machine, or amusement device which is hereby defined to be any automatic or coin control, or coin-operated music box, juke box, radio, or similar device, or any combination thereof from which music or other entertainment may be obtained by the deposit or payment of money or other token, or any other such coin-operated device used for amusement, without first having obtained a license therefor.
