Municipal Holidays shall be recognized on:
January 1;
The third Monday in February (President's Day);
Good Friday;
The day designated by Congress for the National commemoration of Memorial Day;
The Fourth of July;
The first Monday in September (Labor Day);
The second Monday in October (Columbus Day);
The fourth Thursday in November (Thanksgiving Day);
The Friday immediately following Thanksgiving Day;
December 24;
December 25;
December 31; and
In the event any day hereby designated as a Municipal Holiday should fall on a Saturday, the Friday immediately preceding shall be observed as the holiday. In the event any day hereby designated as a Municipal Holiday should fall on a Sunday, the Monday immediately following shall be observed as the holiday.
