(a) The position of Assistant Director of Law is hereby established. The Assistant Director of Law shall be appointed by the Law Director.
(b) The Assistant Director of Law shall act as prosecutor before the Municipal Court of the City. The Assistant Director shall perform other necessary services in the prosecution of misdemeanors in the City and in unincorporated areas of the County. The Assistant Director shall also perform other legal services as assigned by the Law Director.
