(a) A "Flood Plain Development Permit" is required for all construction, including the placement of manufactured homes, and other development subject to regulation under this Chapter. The Permit shall describe with specificity the work authorized and shall be conspicuously posted on the land on which the authorized work is being performed.
(b) No owner of land subject to regulation under this Chapter shall undertake development of that land by any activity without first obtaining the Permit required by Paragraph (a) of this Section.
(c) No person shall operate excavating equipment on or deliver fill material to land subject to regulation under this Chapter unless the Permit required by Paragraph (a) of this Section is posted on the premises.
(d) No person shall engage in construction labor on land subject to regulation under this Chapter unless the Permit required by Paragraph (a) of this Section is posted on the premises.
(e) Whosoever violates paragraph (b) hereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. Whosoever violates paragraph (c) or (d) hereof shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor. (Ord. 8289. Passed 3-2-21.)
