1333.02 STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION.

ARTICLE XVIII, Section 3 of the Ohio Constitution grants municipalities the legal authority to adopt land use and control measures for promoting the health, safety, and general welfare of its citizens. Section 1521.13 of the Ohio Revised Code authorizes municipalities to regulate development in the one-hundred-year flood plain. Therefore, Council of the City of Defiance, Ohio. does ordain these regulations.
