(a) The Ohio Building Code and all component parts thereof, including the Ohio Plumbing Code, Ohio Mechanical Code and National Electric Code as adopted by and published in the Ohio Administrative Code, including future amendments thereof, is hereby adopted.
(b) The Residential Code of Ohio for One-, Two- and Three Family Dwellings, as adopted by and published in the Ohio Administrative Code, including future amendments thereof, is hereby adopted.
Wherever the Codes adopted by this section make reference to an enforcement agency, they shall be interpreted to mean the Building Inspection Division of the Department of Service and Safety and where they refer to a principal code enforcement officer, they shall be interpreted to mean the Building and Zoning Commissioner.
