Where it would have a service value, a water main extension shall be required and paid for by the applicant for water where the existing main is not adjacent to, or where the service line cannot be installed at right angles from, the main to the property of the applicant. The size and length of such extension shall be as determined by the City Administrator and the cost will be in addition to the regular service line installation fee.
