921.02 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter, unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
(a)    "Customer" means the person or entity responsible for payment to the City of charges incurred for water service.
(b)    "Fire line" means a water transmission line installed for protection purposes on the customer's property.
(c)    "Main extension" means a continuation of a main by the connection of an additional length of water main.
(d)    "Tap" means the connection of a water service line to a main by means of a tap coupling, saddle or tapping sleeve and valve.
(e)    "Tapping" means the process of installing the connection between the service line and a water main.
(f)    "Water main" means a water transmission line, generally greater than two inches in size, intended to service more than one water customer and capable of being tapped by more than one service line.
(g)    "Water service line" means a water transmission line, generally two inches in size or less, connected to a water main and designed to provide water of drinkable quality to a single water customer.
