711.01 LIMITATION ON SALES; SALES DEFINED.
   (a)    No person shall sell, or permit his or her real property to be used for the purpose of selling, merchandise at a garage sale for a period exceeding five days in any calendar month.
   (b)    As used in subsection (a) hereof, "garage sale" means and includes all general sales, open to the public, conducted from or on residential premises in any residential zone, as defined in the Zoning Code, for the purpose of disposing of personal property, including, but not limited to, all sales entitled "garage," "lawn," "yard," "attic," "porch," "room," "backyard," "patio," "flea market" or "rummage" sale. This definition shall not include a situation where not more than five specific items are held out for sale and all advertisements of such sale specifically name those items to be sold.
