505.18 DOG WARDEN.

(a) There is hereby established the position of Dog Warden who shall be charged with the responsibility of enforcing all City ordinances relating to dogs.

(b) The Dog Warden shall serve for a period of time determined by the Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the appointee or his or her employer, upon his or her confirmation, upon terms as may be mutually agreeable. Compensation shall be determined by Council.
