(a) A Law Enforcement Trust Fund shall hereby be created providing for the receipt of funds from the forfeiture and sale of contraband materials in accordance with Ohio R.C. Chapter 2933 and such additional legislative enactments which may allow distribution to such funds. This fund shall be managed in accordance with the terms of Ohio R.C. 2933.43(D)(4).
(b) The Mayor and Chief of Police shall be trustees of the fund charged with the responsibility of accounting for receipts and disbursements from the fund and shall be the only persons permitted to authorize distributions from the fund which shall be drawn upon the signature of the Director of Public Safety-Service.
