(a) Building. The fee for building permits, inspections and related activities shall be calculated according to the Schedule of Fees published by the Hamilton County, Ohio, Department of Building Inspections on January 1, 2007, as amended and updated which is hereby adopted by reference.
(b) Electrical.
(1) Residential.
Basic Fee - New homes, room additions
and alterations $80.00
Plus $4.00 per 100 square feet.
Temporary electric pole 25.00
Electric service upgrade 55.00
With additional wiring, add 50.00
Swimming pools electric
Above ground 45.00
In-ground 75.00
(2) Commercial (OBC).
Process fees 200.00
Plus $4.50 per 100 square feet of total floor area
Minor alteration: electric 75.00
Sign fees:
Small sign - under 30 square feet
Electrical 75.00
Large sign - over 30 square feet
Electrical 150.00
Plan review 55.00
(3) Administrative fees.
Call back re-inspection (3rd or more trips) 50.00
Missed inspection 50.00
Unspecified inspection and before or after
hours inspection 75.00 per hour
Starting work without permit 200.00 or Fee
x 2, whichever
is greater.
(c) Plumbing. Permits, fees and inspections associated with plumbing shall be in accordance with the provisions set forth by Hamilton County Board of Health, Plumbing Division, unless otherwise specified by Council.
