(a) No person shall operate a bicycle, skateboard, rollerskates, rollerblades, or any other device by which any person or property may be transported or drawn, on the tennis courts located within Chamberlin Park, Deer Park, Ohio. This section shall not apply to disabled persons safely operating wheelchairs or other devices designed to assist disabled persons.
(b) In addition to being fined for the cost of repairs resulting from damage to the tennis court area and/or court surfaces, any person found to violate this section shall be found guilty and punished as follows:
(1) Except as otherwise provided within this subsection, a minor misdemeanor;
(2) If within one year of the violation the offender has been previously found guilty of a violation of this section, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; or
(3) If within one year of a violation the offender has been previously found guilty of two or more violations of this section, a misdemeanor of the third degree. (Ord. 01-15. Passed 3-26-01.)
