917.14 STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS.
   (a)   Any Service Provider shall give a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours advance notice to the Director before commencing any work on or in the Right-of-Way.
   (b)   In cases of emergencies where failure to respond to a problem may endanger human life or safety, or threaten property destruction, any Person may proceed to respond to take corrective action to the least extent necessary to prevent hazard or loss, provided that they notify the Police Dispatcher of their presence and work within the Right-of-Way, and file the requisite notice or permit documents at the earliest opportunity after the emergency has passed and when the Municipality Permit office is open for business.
   (c)   All work sites shall be marked, signed and protected from traffic to standards established by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
   (d)   All work done within the public Rights-of-Way shall, at a minimum, meet applicable national and state codes, including the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation, or such higher standard stipulated in writing by the Director or Municipality.
   (e)   Restoration shall be to a standard that equals or exceeds the condition of that portion of the Right-of-Way preceding any work done by the Service Provider. Deciding that such restoration meets an acceptable standard shall be at the sole discretion of the Director.
   (f)   Service Provider shall have the authority to trim trees, upon approval of the Director, in accordance with all applicable Utility restrictions, ordinance and easement restrictions, upon and hanging over streets, alleys, sidewalks, and public places of the Municipality so as to prevent the branches of such streets from coming into contact with the wires and cables of Service Provider at its sole cost and upon approval of the Director.
