Upon information that any tree, plant or shrubbery, or any part thereof, or any noxious weeds, or rank vegetation are growing in violation of any part of this chapter, the Director of Public Safety-Service shall cause notice to be served, by publication, by regular mail, or in-hand delivery upon the owner, lessee, agent or tenant having charge of such lands that such will be cut and destroyed within five days after the date of publication of such notice. Notice given by publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City shall be sufficient if addressed generally to all such owners and persons. (Ord. 02-14. Passed 7-8-02.)
