§ 32.078 APPOINTMENTS.
   (A)   Pursuant to the Act, the following appointments shall be made.
      (1)   The Mayor of the city shall appoint three of the five members of the City Redevelopment Commission.
      (2)   The Common Council of the city shall appoint two of the five members of the City Redevelopment Commission.
   (B)   The initial City Redevelopment Commission members shall serve from the date of their appointment until 1-1-2013. Thereafter, members shall be appointed for one year terms, commencing on January 1 of each year.
   (C)   Each member must be qualified to serve as required under the Act, shall be bonded and shall take an oath of office in accordance with the Act.
   (D)   In addition to the member appointments by the Mayor, the Mayor shall also appoint an individual to serve as a non-voting advisor to the City Redevelopment Commission. The non-voting advisor shall serve without compensation, must be a member of the school board of a school corporation that includes all or part of the territory served by the Redevelopment Commission and shall serve for a term of two years and until a successor is appointed.
   (E)   Members of the Redevelopment Commission and the non-voting advisor serve at the pleasure of the appointing entity and may be summarily removed from office at any time.
