Meters will be read monthly and bills will be rendered monthly, according to the schedule of rates filed. If a bill is not paid on or before the due date (approximately 22 days after the current meter reading date or ten days after the anticipated mailing date, whichever is later) indicated on the bill, the customer will be considered delinquent and, at any time thereafter prior to the payment thereof, the utility may, ten days after written notice has been given to such delinquent customer, discontinue service.
