(A) the City Water Department shall determine the type of material to be used in the construction of all water main extension. Water mains will be of ductile iron or P.V.C. water pipe. P.V.C. must be U.L. approved for both potable water and fire protection. It shall be class D.R. 18 with cast iron O.D. or equal.
(B) All fire hydrants shall be the same make and shall meet the same specifications as those installed by the City Water Department.
(C) No water main extensions shall have any dead end, unless written approval therefor shall have been obtained from the City Water Department.
