(A) Upon satisfactory completion of work on a new residential or commercial building and upon final approval by the Building Official, a certificate of occupancy shall be granted.
(B) The exterior of any building shall be completed prior to occupancy of that building, and prior to issuance of certificate of occupancy.

It is unlawful for any person firm or corporation to erect, construct, extend, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure in the city, except in an agricultural building, or cause the same to be done contrary to or in violation of any provision of this chapter or the codes adopted by reference in this chapter.

(A) Any person(s), firm or corporation, which shall violate any provision of this chapter and/or the State Building Code, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
(B) Each day any such violation shall continue shall constitute a separate offense, unless otherwise specifically provided.
