1-2-5: SEVERABILITY CLAUSE:
Unless otherwise provided with respect to particular provisions, all provisions of this code shall be severable. If any provision of this code is held invalid or suspended, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and in operation unless the court finds that the valid provisions are so essentially connected with and so dependent upon the void provision that the court cannot presume the council would have enacted the remaining valid provisions without the void one, or unless the court finds the remaining valid provisions, standing alone, are incomplete and are incapable of being executed in accordance with the intent of the city council.
