A. Residential And Multiple Dwelling Districts: In the residential district and the multiple dwelling district, every building designed for the housing of one or two (2) families, not including accessory buildings, shall provide a lot area of not less than six thousand (6,000) square feet. In the case of all buildings housing more than two (2) families, a lot area must be provided of not less than two thousand (2,000) square feet per family. (1982 Code § 9.320)
B. Future Additions: In all future platted additions to the city, each residence lot shall be at least seven thousand (7,000) square feet in area; all streets shall be a least sixty feet (60') wide, and the city council may require all thoroughfare streets to be not less than eighty feet (80') wide.
