The commission shall elect a chairperson and a vice chairperson from among its appointed members who are not ex officio members and may create such other offices as it may determine. It shall provide itself with a secretary either by election from among its members or by appointment of an officer or employee of the city who is not a member of the commission. (1982 Code § 2.456)
