1-6-4: CITY TREASURER 1 :
A city treasurer shall be appointed by the city council, receive such compensation as the city council may fix, and serve at the pleasure of the city council. The city treasurer shall have such powers and duties as are prescribed by law, by charter and as the city council may determine. (1982 Code § 2.113)
