A. Care And Maintenance: The road and bridge department shall have full power to maintain, trim, prune, remove and otherwise care for all trees, plants, shrubs, flowers and other vegetation growing in all parks, and on, adjacent to or overhanging all streets, alleys, sidewalks and boulevards of the city.
B. Formulation Of General Plan: The road and bridge department shall formulate general plans for the trimming, maintenance and pruning of trees, plants, shrubs, flowers and other vegetation in such places and for the removal of any trees, plants, shrubs, flowers or other vegetation which has become diseased, damaged, noxious or dangerous.
C. Entry Upon Private Premises: The road and bridge department shall have the power to enter upon private property for the purpose of inspection and for carrying out the provisions of this section. (1982 Code § 4.152)
